Testing days coming soon...

Gerad continues to grow and develop. He is a well-built chunky boy and all you want to do is squeeze him and squeeze him some more. He is now over 17 pounds.
Last night momma had a book party and he wasn't so sure with all those ladies ooh'ing and aah'ing over him. Today he was happy because the party turned out real good and his mom was allowed to get lots of free books. Nice ones! =)

Further testing is scheduled for March the 11 and 12th. On the 11th, pre-catherization day, he will be in the hospital for 1/2 a day for tests such as bloodwork, ECG and x-ray. On the 12th a camera will be inserted through his groan to take a better look at his heart. From here the doctors will determine when his next surgery will take place.

What is cardiac catheterization?
Cardiac catheterization is a diagnostic procedure in which a long thin tube called a catheter is placed in a blood vessel and then guided to the heart. The catheter may be inserted into either arteries or veins, depending on the information needed, in either an arm or leg. A "dye" is injected through the catheter to determine and measure precisely what the heart looks like at the present.:: rolling ~a whole new way of seeing the world round about ::

After several days of not dirtying his diaper, Daddy Marv was concerned it was going to come out through his pant legs when he showed signs of doing his Big Job soon!!!
